JOLA

Brazilian coffee, roasted for memory.

Um café de origem, memória e afeto.

Our Story

It started in a backyard in Brazil.

JOLA is the union of Joaquim and Lázara — grandparents who worked on farms, sold coffee at the local market, and roasted beans at home. The scent of their backyard roast became the most powerful memory of their grandchild's childhood.

Today, JOLA carries that memory forward — sourcing expressive lots from small Brazilian producers and bringing them to New York City with care, transparency, and soul.

Origin

Brazil is not one origin. It's a continent of terroirs.

01

Alta Mogiana

São Paulo — 900–1,100m

Chocolate, caramel, citrus

02

Cerrado Mineiro

Minas Gerais — 800–1,200m

Nuts, brown sugar, full body

03

Mantiqueira de Minas

Minas Gerais — 1,000–1,400m

Floral, stone fruit, bright acidity

JOLA sources exclusively from small Brazilian producers who score 80+ on the SCA scale. Each lot is traceable to the farm, the process, and the people behind it.
